A BIT ABOUT BRAZILSince 1500 Brazil has been welcoming immigrants from many differents parts of the world. In the 16th and 17th centuries it was more intense. A lot of people from Italy, Germany, Portugal and Spain came to Brazil to work and to live here. Up to now they have been living, working, raising their children and preserving their culture in Brazil.
Rio Grande do Sul is a example of that, 46% of the population are descendant of Europa, and they have been preserving their culture such as food, dance and religion.
